Our leaders must also be chef-driven since the restaurants employ skilled culinary teams trained to execute from-scratch products in high volume. This does not mean that everyone joining J. Alexander’s must have prior kitchen management experience, but it does imply that anyone joining the company must possess a sincere interest in learning culinary operations. Full-service restaurant experience is a requirement for consideration. A college degree or culinary degree is preferred. Relocation flexibility will contribute to the success of a J. Alexander’s leader.
